EASTHOUSES LILY 3 TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS 0 The pitch may have been artificial but the wind was real at Albyn Park. With Easthouses' own ground still unplayable after all the recent rain, the East of Scotland League sanctioned the switching of this Second Division fixture to the home of its current Premier Division leaders, Broxburn Athletic. Recurring themes but once again Tweedmouth were left to curse a failure to make the most of their chances and a final scoreline which was not a true reflection of the afternoon's events. Our final goal in our match against Newburgh came from Jay Baverstock. This goal was very special as it’s the first one for Jay since coming back from injury. It’s a great joy seeing him back on the pitch after his horror injury.

NEWBURGH 2 TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS 4 Tweedmouth avenged an early season home defeat by Newburgh, taking control in the second half after goals came thick and fast in a first half punctuated by a monsoon-like downpour. Rangers were unable to capitalise on a trio of good chances before Sam Straughan eventually put them in front in the 26th minute.
