TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS 0 EDINBURGH COLLEGE 4 Kicking off without several regulars, Tweedmouth suffered a further player loss when Sam Straughan was shown a straight red for his part in an altercation with a College player a few minutes from half time. For the second week running, there was a strong wind blowing, especially in the first half during which there was also a burst of heavy rain with which the players had to contend. For most of this period, Tweedmouth gave as good as they got, neither side yet able to stamp its authority on the game. Edinburgh had a
SIGNING 📝 RILEY LIGHTFOOT GALA FAIRYDEAN >> TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS Kev Wrights plans for next season have been massively boosted by getting the permanent signature of his star loan man from this season Riley Lightfoot. Riley’s level headedness and youthful energy arrived right on queue this season, helping the team to a run of straight wins and much improved performance. News that Gala wanted him back in the New Year was blow but it was short lived thankfully for Tweedmouth and he came back in and got his head back down with the squad. A big thanks to Gala for their
EASTHOUSES LILY 3 TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS 0 The pitch may have been artificial but the wind was real at Albyn Park. With Easthouses' own ground still unplayable after all the recent rain, the East of Scotland League sanctioned the switching of this Second Division fixture to the home of its current Premier Division leaders, Broxburn Athletic. Recurring themes but once again Tweedmouth were left to curse a failure to make the most of their chances and a final scoreline which was not a true reflection of the afternoon's events. Any advantage the wind offered went to Easthouses in the first half

NEWBURGH 2 TWEEDMOUTH RANGERS 4 Tweedmouth avenged an early season home defeat by Newburgh, taking control in the second half after goals came thick and fast in a first half punctuated by a monsoon-like downpour. Rangers were unable to capitalise on a trio of good chances before Sam Straughan eventually put them in front in the 26th minute. This was to be the first of a quartet of scores all of which came inside a spell barely lasting ten minutes. Newburgh were soon back on level terms. The ball was with Rangers' Niall Frampton but he lost his footing and
